Description
The 6″ by 14″ footprint covers a lot of surface in one pass, so you are not making endless strokes to level high spots on foam board. The tungsten carbide cutting surface bites aggressively into EPS without loading up, and it keeps that edge job after job. In fact, TapeTech’s EIFSand™ tungsten carbide rasps outlast standard abrasive rasp paper by more than 100 times, which means fewer trips to the supply trailer and more time on the wall.

This rasp is designed specifically for EIFS and stucco prep work. Before you apply any base coat, you need to rasp the entire EPS surface to remove contaminants and open the foam for better adhesion. Once you have knocked down the high spots, simply brush off the loose EPS material and you are ready for the next step.
