What It Does

This guard replaces the standard wheel guard on your Makita angle grinder and gives you a dedicated port to connect a suitable dust extractor. Instead of dust billowing around the jobsite, it gets captured at the source — right where the disc meets the material. That means less cleanup, better visibility while you work, and a healthier environment if you’re grinding indoors or in enclosed spaces.

The 191W06-8 is built for Makita’s 115mm (4½”) and 125mm (5″) cordless and corded angle grinders. It works with popular models including the DGA452, DGA504, DGA506, DGA508, DGA512, DGA517, DGA518, GA4540, GA4540C, GA5021C, GA5030K, GA4530K, 9564PC, PC5010C, M9502XM, 9447NB, and M9510B.

Important: This guard does not fit the XGT 125mm (5″) grinders or the GA5050. Double-check your model number before ordering.
