GIB Tradeset

Description

GIB Tradeset is a premium range of chemically setting joint compounds available in 20, 45, 90 and 150 minute set times. Available in 5 and 20kg bags. Coverage is approximately 100m² of GIB plasterboard per 20kg.

Time to set:
GIB Tradeset 20: 10-30 minutes
GIB Tradeset 45: 35-55 minutes
GIB Tradeset 90: 95-110 minutes
GIB Tradeset 150: 145-165 minutes

The drying time of GIB Tradeset will vary depending on temperature and weather conditions, however, 24 hours during normal weather conditions is sufficient. Best practice jointing allows each coat to dry prior to application of the next.

Water, air and surface temperatures above 10ºC should be maintained until the compound is completely dry. During winter periods of under cold damp conditions, drying rates can be improved by using more, but thinner coats of compound.
