How to Use the Elcometer 154

1. Press the comb perpendicular into the wet coating until the outer teeth touch the substrate.
2. Hold it steady for a few seconds to allow the paint to wet the teeth.
3. Remove the comb and look at the teeth. The true wet film thickness falls between the highest coated tooth and the lowest uncoated (dry) tooth.
