Application Guidelines

Surface Preparation
For optimal results on plasterboard and previously painted surfaces:
1. Treat any mould or fungal areas with appropriate cleaners
2. Scrape and sand to remove loose or flaking paint
3. Fill cracks and holes with suitable stopping compound
4. Sand smooth with P240 grit sandpaper
5. Apply recommended sealer/undercoat to repaired areas

Priming Recommendations
– Apply 1-2 coats of TRUEPREP EASY SAND or DRYWALL SEALER primer
– For premium finish: 2 coats TRUEPREP EASY SAND or 1 coat DRYWALL SEALER at 6-8 sqM/l
– For water staining: Use TRUEPREP MULTIPURPOSE ALKYD PRIMER UNDERCOAT or TRUEPREP MULTIPRIME

Application Instructions
– Do not thin – use straight from container
– Stir paint well before use
– Apply in temperatures above 10°C for optimal performance
– Allow 2 hours between coats
– Not recommended for wet areas

1) Tradextra uses two types: White Base and Accent Base. White Base will be used for lighter colors. Accent Base is used for very dark or bright colors.

2) There is NO charge for tinting paint.
