3M Softback Sanding Sponge

Description

3M Softback Sanding Sponge provides flexibility and conformability to allow for sanding by hand in areas inaccessible to machine sanders. Can be used either wet or dry when sanding on wood, fiberglass/gel coat, marine paints, metals, and plastics.

Flexible foam pad enables the user to sand hard-to-reach areas such as headlight openings, around door handles, door jambs, etc. Helps to eliminate finger marks and can be used wet or dry.

There are 3 types:
3M 2601 Softback Sanding Sponge – Ultra Fine
3M 2604 Softback Sanding Sponge – Fine
3M 2606 Softback Sanding Sponge – Medium

Ultrafine ranges from grade 800 to 1000.

Fine ranges from grade 320 to 400.

Medium ranges from grade 120 to 180.

Abrasive Backing Type: Foam

Abrasive Mineral Type: Aluminium Oxide
