If you’ve ever swapped between a wire wheel, a sanding disc, and a stripping pad just to prep one panel, the Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ Clean and Strip XT Pro Disc is built to cut that hassle out of your day. Silicon carbide mineral is baked into an open nylon web that tears through rust, old paint, mill scale, powder coat, and adhesive residue while leaving the base material largely intact. Translation: you clean the surface without grinding away good metal.

The reengineered fiber web is the real story here. It’s springier than the older-style stripping discs, which means more of the pad makes contact with the workpiece at any given moment. You get faster removal, better performance on edges and curves, and it molds around weld bead ripples so you can polish a weld without flattening it. Poking into tight corners, cleaning around bolt heads, prepping inside a wheel well? The disc conforms instead of skipping.
And because silicon carbide is a sharp, friable mineral, it keeps cutting as it wears. The resin bond breaks down gradually and exposes fresh grit underneath, so you get a consistent cut from the first minute to the last.
