The Sixth of the Sixth Two Thousand and Six.
The thing about opening a business on the 6th of the sixth month of 2006, is that you never forget it’s birthday! June 2017 marks 11 years of Tradextra serving the decorating trade.
In the beginning, Tradextra was a business of only 3 employees, one shop and one van. Now a team of 10 employees, a warehouse added to our shop and four sales vans making trips around the Auckland and Northland region, Tradextra has continued to evolve and expand to meet the market.
2006 – Tradextra Ltd opens with three employees, small office, and limited resources.
2007 – One van makes a weekly trip down to the Auckland region.
2008 – A couple more employees join the ranks and our range of products increases.
2010 – 2 more vans are added to our fleet, enabling more trips to be made down to Auckland.
2012 – We now cover the upper Northland region; one van makes a weekly trip up there on Tuesdays.
2014 – Our first website was created.
2016 – Role changes and inspiring team meetings ensure that our team is motivated to succeed all the more for the coming financial year. An updated website is finally active, allowing online purchases to be made with ease and a large range of our products.
2017 – Our team now has ten brilliant employees and still growing! Our fleet of vans have increased to four vans With a new design of the warehouse shelving and ergonomic office layout, we can now give much more improved service to our valued customers. With the increased shelving, we can hold more stock so you can expect faster and improved service.
2018 – Watch this space!
11 years is a long time for a business – as you can see above, a lot happens in that space of time! On behalf of the entire Tradextra team, we would like to thank everyone who supported us throughout those years and we look forward to another profitable 11 years together.
