Here’s What You Can Prime With It

This primer works as three products in one, depending on what you’re trying to achieve. As a primer, it bonds to timber (including those difficult natives), MDF, particle board, aluminum, galvanized surfaces, PVC, and laminates. As a sealer, it locks down stains on fiber cement, plaster, brick, concrete, and even sun-damaged wallboards. As an undercoat, it creates the perfect base for water-based acrylics and enamels.

The coverage is honest too – 10 to 12 square meters per liter. Not the inflated numbers you sometimes see that only work if you’re painting with a feather.

Application Methods

You can brush it, roll it, or spray it. For spraying, use airless equipment with 2500 PSI and a 413, 415, or 515 tip with a 100 mesh gun filter. For brushing and rolling, a Wooster Pro-dooz 10mm nap roller works perfectly with a quality brush for cutting in.

Apply one or two coats depending on the surface. Lightly sand between coats if you want that ultra-smooth finish. The primer cleans up with water, so no need for harsh solvents.
